The rules are simple:
  • Each debater is named, with appropriate contact information
  • One debater presents a point
  • The other debater presents their view of that point
  • The first debater is determined by the editor based on burden of proof
  • Debaters alternate presentation of a new point
  • A point is determined by the editor (i.e. no using one turn to express many points or using many turns to express one point)
  • Each point (or turn) can be a maximum of 100 words
  • Each debater may have two points that are a maximum of 200 words
  • The editor may interject where needed, but should only do so to assit the reader
  • There is an unlimited number of points that can be made
  • Points can be updated at the debator's request
  • Both readers must concede that scripture (both Old Testament and New Testament) is the divine Word of God
