| Research Project- |
To determine the kinetics of
thermal decomposition of trimethylgallium. This was performed using a
pulsing CO2 IR laser and a HeNe visible laser. The CO2
laser would coincide with the smaller HeNe laser as they passed through
a chamber of partial trimethylgallium. The kinetics were assembled
from the data collected from the thermal lens effect in the chamber and
Gas Chromatograph data. The trimethylgallium containment was a network
of near-vacuum glassware.
